Can a Rotator Cuff Heal on Its Own?

If you are experiencing pain during movements of your arm, it is important to be careful when doing activities that may cause you further injury. Rotator cuff pain can easily get worse if the activity is continued even though the pain is present. 

Resting and protecting your rotator cuff can help make a significant difference in your recovery time and allow you to continue with things like lifting heavy objects without risk of further injury or aggravating the condition.

If after resting for 1-2 days, you still have significant pain, it would be best to seek medical attention before continuing any physical activity that may cause further strain.
